Extension beyond 3 years may be considered in a few deserving cases depending on the progress and need of the project; extension is granted rarely.

Funding decisions are made based on merit of the proposal, competence of the Investigator sand the research available in the implementing institution, and not on the category of institutions the Investigator is working.

COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH (CSIR)

The scheme provides core research support to active researchers to undertake research and development in frontier areas of Science and Phd thesis aalborg university.
