I was given amoxicillin for 7 days for sinus infection and became worse with breathing problems, lung inflammation and pneumonia. Feeling much better with bactrim. Two and half days into treatment, I could not sleep. I started getting a mild headache and I felt very dizzy, like I wanted to just lay down and fall asleep.
Then, my cranberry juice and the food I was eating started to taste very bitter in the back of my throat. My chest felt a little tight, but not as bad as some people have mentioned on here. Now to remind you, this was HALF of one pill and I'm supposed to be taking a full one twice daily for 5 days. After reading this website and having most of the symptoms already, I'm afraid to continue taking them.

I really do not what to do anymore with some doctors. I am really frustrated, because I know this is not normal. I'm supposed to take it 2 times a day for 7 days. Not only do I have cheat pain, but my face has been breaking out, I'm tired, I'm cold, and it's impossible to eat because I want to throw up at the smell of pretty much anything.
Apparently it's a very good drug that will kill my infection, so I'm going to toughen up and deal with it. But I feel so weak, so ugly, and just so sick.
