UC / CSU "a-g" Courses

A History UC-approved high school courses Two years of history, including: Score of satisfies one year. Score of 3, 4 or 5 on the AP Exam satisfies a half year.

No more than one course of ESL-type courses can be used to meet this requirement. Score of satisfies first three years. A-g Reading and Writing and Math.

Scores from the Writing section will not be a-g for admission purposes to the CSU. Applicants may submit scores from either test. All students must complete a geometry course or integrated math with geometry content; no standardized examination will satisfy the geometry requirement. A-g of C or course in a UC-transferable mathematics course of 3 semester or 4 quarter units that has intermediate algebra as a prerequisite satisfies the entire requirement.

Freshman courses cannot satisfy this requirement with statistics.
